  2. Mike,
I deleted my earlier comment because I did not use the prompts from the class site.

    Here they are:

    • I especially liked the energy! You were really excited about the topic and that showed in the video. You were very clear with the relation between the keynote speaker and the project topic. The transitions were well done and the editing was professional.

    • I am not sure about what program you used to edit! The presentation was very clear and well edited. What tech tools did you use?

    • This part of the video was very successful the entire video. I liked the transitions that reinforced points. This was a great tool to use.

    • You might be interested in these resources -- I don't have any to offer. This was really well done. I would offer this link to a peer open source education site (http://p2pu.org/). You can register for classes on here free of charge. It seems to support your main idea here.

    • While watching your video, I wondered about any programs your school might be using that are supporting this idea? If so, do they support the ideas Dr. Ke has?

    • I have seen others be succeed with video creation when . . .-- not sure on this question.

I really enjoyed your video. I would love to know what tools you used and the learning curve on those.

    Thanks,
    Erica

  3. Mike,

I agree with Erica, you seem really excited about your program and that itself makes the program exciting. The transitions were very well organized, the only thing I would add is you have one word misspelled and that is "learning". But in my video, I introduce the guy but not at the end, but in the beginning and it is implied that he is the key note speaker, but you know that assuming is like... o well everyone has one. But kudos to you, really like your video.

  5. To those that asked, I used a program called Power Director to make the video. It came with my computer but I bought an upgrade for about 70$.
It is a great program that offers many great effects and options. It took a little time to figure out but it came together in the end. Thank you all for your positive responses to my video I enjoyed putting it together.

  6. Michael,
I agree with the other comments. I liked your energy in the video! I also liked how you recorded in different settings. When you were in front of the whiteboard, I liked how you made your text and images appear as though they were actually on the whiteboard. What a creative way to edit your video. Your text, images and transitions all helped me to better understand your topic and how it related to your keynote speaker. I think you did a great job!

  7. I enjoyed your video presentation. I was trying to figure out how you included the pictues within each slide. I will check out the program that you used. I don't think that Windows Movie Maker has the same capabilities.
